Face numbing cold, and heavy snowfalls expected

News

It was supposed to be a “winter from hell”!

But so far, seasonally high temperatures have been a gift to those looking to get outside.
That’s about to change!

According to David Phillips, senior climatologist for Environment Canada, a break down in the polar vortex could bring “Face numbing cold, and heavy snowfalls” to parts of southern Canada.

The weather event could arrive in the last weeks of January and continue into the middle of February. If he’s right, you’ll want to get your warm winter layers ready and get outside as much as possible before it arrives.

Stay warm Toronto!
